Producciones JLS ltda. was founded in 1990 with the RUT: 78185940-0, in the Metropolitan Region of Santiago, Chile. Today represents essentially the work of Jorge López Sotomayor as producer / director of audiovisual materials.

Main objectives of the institution
Our main business is the creation of audiovisual works for Film and TV, to reflect the field of culture, sport adventure, innovation and institutional information with a stamp of international quality.
We have a strong emphasis towards on documentary production, TV programs as well as plot development for Cinema and TV Fiction films.
JL Productions has also participated in the development of international film productions such as films shot in Rapa Nui Easter Island and SEVEN YEARS IN TIBET filmed in the Andes, as well as documentaries in France, Spain, Germany and the United States .

- Last Grumete Flim with Domingo Tessier, and Teresita Rivas Gonzalo Meza, Victor Mix.
- 1300 short documentaries "Visiones" for TV UC.
- 15 Unit Programs "Ones and Others" to Televisión Nacional de Chile.
- Institutional documentaries made in English, French, and Spanish.
- Two documentaries on the Chilean expedition and the ascent to K2: "K2 Mountain of Mountains" TV UC Channel 13
- Documentary in 4 Chapters "The Path of a Dream" for National Television of Chile (TVN).
- 13 episodes of the series "The Adventure of Change", and nine chapters of the series "Crime and Mystery" for Canal 13 UCTV.
- XS, the worst "talla" (joke) is a Fiction film with several international awards show how teens thrive in school and in everyday life with friends, classmates and teachers. The lack of contact with their parents, always busy and away for them, and loneliness they face in their ongoing quest for identity and their treatment in conflict with the authority of the school, romances, fights and drugs surrounds the film, creating an interresting picture of today's teenagers.
- "Leadership Live, 2008", series of 12 interviews with daily leaders daily profile community leaders, conducted by Rodrigo Jordan and shown on TV UC with great audience response.
- "Expedition to the Heart of Greenland" a 30-minute documentary on the plight of global warming and its effect on the land and its people.
